Recipes
Here are some of our favorite recipes. Feel free to experiment and create your own. For more inspiration, go here.

Body Wash / Hand Soap
Mix 1/2 cup Castile soap with 1/2 cup distilled water. For a thicker gel-like soap, instead heat 1 cup Castile soap on a stovetop and slowly stir in up to 1/2 cup kosher salt until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and allow too cool before using. The mixture will thicken further as it cools.

Shampoo
Mix 2 tbsp. Castile soap with 1 cup distilled water. Follow with an acidic rinse to balance the pH of your hair. For a homemade rinse, mix 1 part lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to 8 parts water.

Facial Cleanser
Mix 1 tbsp. Castile soap, 1 cup distilled water, and 1/2 cup witch hazel. For facial wipes, pour over washcloths and store.

Lathering Shave Soap
Rub a few drops of Castile soap between wet hands and lather onto face, legs, or body.

Hand Wash Dish Soap
Mix 1 part Castile soap to 2 parts water and hand wash dishes.

Fruit and Vegetable Rinse
Mix 1 tbsp. Castile soap and 2 cups of water. Rinse thoroughly.

All-Purpose Cleaning Spray
Mix 1/4 cup Castile soap with 4 cups warm water.

Kitchen and Bathroom Scrubbing Cleaner
Mix 1/4 cup Castile soap, 3/4 cup baking soda, and 1 tbsp. water. After mixing well, slowly add 1 tbsp, vinegar and stir to achieve a paste-like consistency. Add baking soda as desired to thicken the paste. Store in an empty soap container.

Window Cleaner
Mix 1 tbsp. Castile soap with 2 cups water in a spray bottle.

Laundry Detergent
Boil 4 cups of water and slowly dissolve 1/2 cup washing soda, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1/4 cup kosher salt. Allow to cool then add 12 cups water and slowly stir in 1 cup Castile soap. Shake before use and use 1/2 cup per load.

Cares as it cleans

We use certified organic coconut, argan, jojoba, olive, and hemp oils to add antioxidants and omega fatty acids your skin will love.

No gross stuff

We steer clear of artificial colors and fragrances, harsh foaming agents, parabens, phthalates, SLS, SLES, and other nasty stuff that can be harmful to our health and the environment.

Scent not stink

Our scented Castile soaps get their good scents from nature, not a laboratory. We use organic essential oils known for their therapeutic qualities, instead of artificial fragrances known to irritate the skin and senses.

Get a smooth shave with Cove.

Shaving can be tricky, especially if you have sensitive skin. Tea Rose Cove Castile Liquid Soap is gentle enough to provide a nice lather and close shave for all.
